Nino De La Cruz is a computer scientist, security researcher, entrepreneur, and inventor with nearly two decades of experience in law enforcement and the public sector. He enjoys creating engaging projects based on computer science, forensics, cybersecurity, and various other fields he has learned about throughout his career.

Nino is a former emergency 911 police dispatcher, law enforcement digital photographer, and multimedia specialist. Currently, he serves as the Parking Administrator for the City of Peabody, Massachusetts.

In addition, he is the Founder and CEO of Abstract Mentality Systems, a company that develops user-friendly security software for security-focused creatives. Abstract Mentality Systems also specializes in penetration testing and cybersecurity compliance for web applications, critical infrastructure, automotive systems, IoT (Internet of Things), operational technology, and mobile applications.

Nino is passionate about exploring the new opportunities and novel challenges presented by “Law Enforcement 2.0.”
